rain, rain, go away It rained all day yesterday. No pronghorn classifications. And it's raining again this morning. I've got one route left to do in my big area, and it positively has to be done before dark this evening. I've never classified in the rain before. At least, not heavy rain. I suppose it could be done, you just have a greatly reduced search radius. Like the twenty meters in front of your truck. Sorta like a headlight survey, which I've done, too. Forecast is for clearing skies this afternoon, and the NOAA satellite radar looks promising. Planning on heading out after lunch, regardless what the weather looks like here in town. At least this last route is in the sands. Rain just helps driving around in dunes, rather than making mud. Here's hoping today's sunset looks like Sunday's: |
