grizzly grinnell trail

The photography software refused to download 3,062 photos in one batch.

And yes, there is room on the hard drive for them all. With not much to spare. It's just that the programmers of this professional grade software somehow never anticipated anyone downloading 3,000 images at one time.

Geez. And I thought I was rationing myself.

So. Regarding the previous entry...

This

was the wife's and my view from Grinnell Lake. If you used optics to look really close in the highlighted area

you could see the grizzly bear sow and her two yearling cubs strolling west on the Grinnell Glacier trail.

With a cluster of hikers, including our three kids, backed up against the unscalable cliff wall above the bears. Armed only with the daughter-in-law's black with pink polka dots umbrella.

Wow.
