grizzly tour Yesterday was a day spent in the field. On a tour with twenty other people, discussing a piece of ground that has been a focus of many field tours over the past 15 years. A good day for it. Cloudy and cool, just a couple days after a big rain, so the dust wasn't too bad. Not another soul in sight once we left the asphalt. Except during lunch. Lunch was a 'bring your own' affair in a meadow, like so many on these tours. But we just happened to be camped right on the Continental Divide Trail. So you can imagine the face of the gentleman hiker who passed through us. Who I suspect has also not seen a human since he left the main road so many miles back. |
