The wife came home for lunch today, and handed me a small envelope as she was taking off her coat.
What? You mean somebody else was even later with their Christmas cards than we were?
Then I notice the McD's gift coupons sticking out. A "Thank you" card and gift from the young mother we dug out of the snowdrift yesterday.
Well, she didn't have to do that!
"That's what I told her", the wife answers.
"But you know how it is..."
Yeah.
