Final, random tidbits for the day...

Just got a phone call an hour or so ago.

From youngest son.

At the airport.

The Saint Louis airport.

His best friend is graduating from basic training tomorrow, so our crazy son, after the multiple trips back and forth between funeral and exams this week, made another drive to DIA and a flight to Missouri.

When he called, he was heading out to find a taxi. (Which I suspect will be his first taxi ride.)

In his stocking feet.

Seems airport security doesn't like those shoes with comfort gelpack soles.

His friend in Missouri doesn't know about Taylor yet. The family and band members all agreed, it was not something he needed to hear during the last hell week of training. So, depending on who gets there first, youngest son or the parents will have to break the news.

A bittersweet graduation.
