spiders & rain

I should post something here.

Really, I should.

But it is just too dang hot and sticky. I mean, I've been looking at old images from May and June for over an hour now, and not one of them seems just right for posting, you know?

So, I will follow the wife's advice and tell you this.

I just killed a big honkin' brown spider.

Wife says that means it's gonna rain.

Man, if that works, I woulda started hunting spiders weeks ago.

('Course, where she grew up, that was almost always true. With or without the spider.)

Interesting that, after watching me terminate one spider, the masked heeler went clear through the room, checking all the places she ever beds down.

Guess she didn't know we had spiders in here. Or else, she didn't know they were something worth worrying about.

And so, to bed.
