brief glimpse of green
With most of the day spent writing on one of my deer herd reports, we'll pull out an image from one of our elk flights in May.
Who'd have thought, on the 3rd of May, that this country was about as green as it was going to get? They say our May was the driest since 1951. Third driest on record.
I guess Joe was right when he said neither he nor I had ever seen it so dry.
For the record, we were up to 90 degrees today.
Supposed to be cooler tomorrow.
