No time for an entry today.

Just spent a couple hours up north. Bitter cold (16 degrees at best), with fog. That meant hoar frost on everything.

Even weeds look good, if you give them an extreme makeover.

The pronghorn, however, are less than thrilled with the change to winter. And are still having difficulty with the new highway fences we threw in their paths the past couple years.

If I had the time, I would be out there still, documenting their encounters with the fence, and finding the worst spots. But it's off to Coal Mine Town with the youth group again, for an evening of swimming and games, a night on the hard gym floor, and then a day of plant and wildlife identification with the boys.

Rumour has it the Governor is going to show, but we'll see.
