Twenty-three years today.

And what did we do to celebrate?

Next to nothing. Been a busy month.

I slept in an extra hour. Didn't get check station set up until after 0900. And then broke it down just after six o'clock, to get home early.

The wife slept in, and skipped Mass. Still fighting off the flu bug that she caught at her three-day training session in Capitol City this week.

And then got up to do laundry.

When I got home, we got take-out from our favorite (and only) local Mexican restaurant. Delivered by the sons.

No roses, no flowers, no candy, not even a card between us.

And it looks like the Yellowstone trip for next weekend is off, to boot. (Youngest son has two school activities, and wife's godson has to work.)

Suppose I should abandon diaries and at least go give my bride an extra hug or two.
