Rained all last night (which is good), and we still have a full moon (but then, doesn't everybody?), so we slept in this morning. Or tried to.

No alarm clock, but we still have heelers. Masked one woke me at 06:10, so I still got to see the sunrise.

Beautiful morning, naturally. Should have gone out to leks, but then there's always the mud problem. Should have gone back here.

So, loafed most of the day away. In bed with the wife until almost noon, drinking coffee, eating cherry pastries and doing the crossword. Got household chores and yard chores to do (including burying the stinky bison skull... it's starting to thaw), but did none today (except minor assisting on laundry).

Lots of web surfing today. Largely wasted, relaxing hours.

Oh, and I hereby make a formal declaration. Those of you with "BraveNet" guestbooks?

Will never be hearing from me again. At least not on the guestbooks. Today was like the third time their damn popups locked up the computer. Not just the browser, the whole thing. Requiring the tedious reboot/logon.

Never again.

Just because I wanted to ask if the Italian restaurant across the street from my old basement apartment on College Ave was still there. Or the one with all the hundreds of signed wine bottles (really!) hanging from the ceiling in the downtown (by the Green Turtle).

So, if you don't hear from me, it's not because I'm not reading.
