cirque

Not much to write today. Kind of a quiet day.

Wife got caught up on quite a few past entries this evening. Had a quiet cry together in the kitchen afterwards.

Regarding your excellent suggestion, Trinity, she had that thought also. Just never bothered to tell me.

And since it's on my mind, did anyone else catch the Cirque du Soliel-ish introduction to the first Winter Olympics awards ceremony? Was anyone else grateful to the news coverage for cutting away from the boring spectacle to go back to sports events?

Why in the world did Utah think that we need to imitate the worst of the previous Olympics? Who started this circus performer stuff at the Olympics anyway?

Hate "Cirque du Soleil". Only thing worse would be a tent full of flashy-dressed, inane mimes.

No, wait. That is "Cirque du Soleil".
