I just finished shaving. No, not the face. Did that this morning, as usual.

Down there.

I mentioned in an earlier entry that last winter I had discovered a dark patch of skin down in my nether regions.

Oh, heck with it. Let's just say it, and see how many Google hits we get.

Down in my pubic hair.

(Note that I found it. If we were waiting for my wife to notice anything unusual down there, we would still be waiting.)

Anyway, it isn't going away, and may even have gotten bigger, so at my last physical the Doc said it should come off.

Okay...

Because of youth camp, I talked him out of an immediate excision. But in an hour or so, it (read I) gets cut.

Now, they're gonna want a sterile operating field. And as cute as his assistants are, I would rather have me working in that area with a sharp razor blade than anyone else. So I just finishing shaving.

Never shaved there before. I suspect that a few of you reading this, particularly those of the female persuasion, may do this regularly. If so, you have my sympathies. But the obstacles you have to overcome cannot compare with what we males have to contend with.

How do the porn stars do it? (Ooooh, another google bait!)

I mean, the flat surfaces are easy enough, certainly easier than a chin. And the cylindrical surfaces aren't too hard once you figure out to go sideways, not up and down.

But what about all the crinkles? You can only stretch things so much, you know.

Is this what I have to look forward to when my face wrinkles up?

Anyway, I suspect my amateur job may or may not be up to the Doc's professional standards, and I may get shaven again anyway. And certainly given a sterile wash. But I got the worst of it done.

Feels kinda cool, as in not hot. Less sweaty. May have to consider doing this regularly...

Nah, I think not.

Gotta go get cut...
