recycling

Three days into the new year, and we are still eating...

Leftovers.

Not that I'm complaining. It was a good dinner. Nothing wrong with having it three nights in a row. And one lunch. Even if we did spend most the afternoon watching Anthony Bourdain and his variety of tastes.

The heelers are certainly pleased with having pig meat scraps and fat every night.

And the pies! Have I mentioned the pies?

Yes, there's the obligatory holiday pumpkin pie, that some people insist on calling "food". (Even the heelers agree with me.) But I don't mind. Because every slice of pumpkin pie that someone eats...

Is another slice of the wife's delicious cherry-raspberry pie that is left for me.

Eight slices of garden garbage for the two of them, eight slices of heaven just for me.
