cursing my new addictions

Am I the only one suffering withdrawal symptoms?

This would probably be a moot question for those of you out there that are not Americans (but maybe not?)...

But am I the only one wanting to constantly scrounge up more, new political news?

I mean, a couple months ago I just wanted this election to be over.

Now it is.

(Why, oh why does my state always have to be red?)

Yet I find myself still watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

Up until a few weeks ago, I had never watched that show. Or anything like it. So why am I still? Unless I'm suffering some form of withdrawal.

Will it go away? Or is this some insipid form of addiction?

Now, I'm watching Rachel Maddow, too. Never did that before, either. But that is entirely understandable. She's pretty, brunette, fun to listen to, and funny. She's like being addicted to dark chocolate... pleasurable, and not entirely bad for you. Like chocolate, I can accept this addiction.

But Countdown? I mean, I even watched O'Reilly this week!

I think the heelers and I are going to have to go out country this weekend.

Snow or no snow.
