Nine of us in the room, no need for introductions. My third of these meetings, but a fifth for others. There's a similar group on a similar task on another side of the state, and they've made considerable progress.

Our group?

Not so much. So one of the nine is here to serve as a facilitator, to keep us on track.

Meeting starts with several participants explaining the need for brevity, their schedules requiring them to leave shortly after lunch. Hopes are expressed for having the primary tasks done by noon.

The facilitator starts us off.

"I want you all to know I was trained in facilitation five years ago."

"And have facilitated nothing since."

Guy on his right turns to his neighbor, and declares loudly...

"We're fucked."

The response back was, "We'll be here two days."

As it was, we were done before three...
