First off, I managed to actually go back and fill in one back entry.

In other news...

On Friday, I emailed three pictures to a few of my local wardens. Nothing pretty or fancy, just some things they might want to be looking for as this winter finally goes away. (Whether that is this week, or eight weeks from now.)

Today I found out those images made it to Washington, DC.

And a professional organization there is looking at publishing them in one of their highly prestigious texts.

Yeah. Really.

Cool, I guess. But I would be much more flattered if they were looking at some of my landscapes. Or probably any image that I have posted here as a "Grouse Pic".

But no. They're impressed with shots like this:
