If I'm not careful, this journal is going to quickly become a "pic of the day" record of strutting season. But as you can tell by the trees and powerlines, we were just leaving town at sunrise today.

And so to bed. To perhaps arise on time tomorrow...

Should mention, both heelers were groaning loudly in bed as I dressed this morning. They clearly did not want to go out to work. The wife suggested they may need to adopt the exercise regimen of work hard one day, rest one day...

Should also mention, believe it or not, we completely spaced out their tenth birthday last week! Wife says they are to get prime rib this weekend to make up for the omission.
