A shot quickly snapped en route between lek three and lek four yesterday:

As for today... I got up on time, peeked out the kitchen window at the expected covering of new white snow, and slipped back to bed. Not rousing for another three hours.

Yes, I probably should have headed out, just the same. Nothing like lousy weather to keep the eagles on the ground, and not messing up my count route (again). But the sleep felt so good.

And so, we'll try the dunes route yet again, tomorrow.
