rainy day on check station (Okay, this was supposed to be a draft of an entry, hidden away like so many others, waiting for photos to be cropped and words to be polished. But since that rarely gets done... here's one for my sister (and by the way, great gift on the phone for Mom. She loves it. You gave the world back to her, or at least friends and family.)) photo entry for the day rainy... worse off the Divide muddy truck ph w/o all meat, weighing, 18 lbs. Book is over 30. Marked a half-dozen bushes (the dog, not trucker). This is one of their regular pit stops on Boise to Green Bay route every week. Pinscher gets upset if he misses a stop. Killed a kid with one 30 years back. Long visit with developer... catch up on sons. Second boom coming in... hesitant to develop land this time, got screwed in the boom 20 years ago. Happy to hear me say this boom isn't going away. Not unless something happens to half the population of China and India. If he finally builds his new subdivision, it's my fault. |
