just an office monday Spent the entire day typing up my comments on the environmental impact statement for one of the huge natural gas projects coming into my country. Thought it would be done by noon, but it took until five o'clock. Eleven pages worth. Had a call from a nonresident, asking about antelope hunting for this fall. And a federal biologist asking about a company wanting to put in a pipeline by a sage grouse strutting ground, and a ferruginous hawk nest. And I was grateful for both interruptions. In other news, still no mouse in the house. Which is good. And temps have been in the forties, with 90 percent of our yard melted off, now. The heeler Mom appreciates that the most. Hard to think this may be her last Spring coming up. And in other news, I sent off my second nastygram in less than a week to two national columnists. And got properly chastised in their response. Apology was made, and accepted. Their column was still wrong, though. |
