Another entry that keeps being set aside...

After my post-surgery followup appointment in Central City earlier this month, the wife and I naturally headed to the mall. Slowly wending our way through construction.

At one pause I looked ahead and commented that OSHA would love to get their hands on one particular fellow. Out there working in his cowboy hat.

Gotta admire such dedication, but I can't imagine a boss that would allow that to happen.

Guess they don't have to.

Because when we got close, I was surprised to discover his western hat was a hardhat. Made of steel and everything.

Which makes sense, for all the same reasons a western hat makes sense in the first place (shady brim, ever-present rain gear).

Cool.

I want one.
