While almost everybody else in our time zone was having lunch, I was here:

A short flight (a good thing, as far as my stomach and inner ears are concerned), and productive. Located ten out of ten radio collared elk.

Have actually hiked that mountain in the foreground. It's bigger than it looks.

And those other mountains? Just across the river valley to the south?

They're in your state. We were less than five miles away. Was curious what the dispatcher might think if we radio'ed in a location (every 20 minutes) that was outside of our state, but it turns out the snow drove the southern-most elk down, not south. So we never quite crossed the line.

Still, a fun flight. It's still winter in a lot of that country.
