It was an early day, it was a long day. It was a fun day.

No, we didn't get to ride in the chopper. Against the outfit's safety regs. Best we could do was watch from the ground, and point out elk to the chopper pilot over the radio.

But still, a fun day.

Was quite a treat to watch the helicopter crew work. They know their business. And elk, too.
