classifying antelope

That time of year is fast approaching.

Antelope classifications.

Which is a good thing, since it generally means lots of field time. But nobody else seems to be aware of that, given all the office work that is piling up for next month. Maybe I need to be like one of our nongame biologists, whose email box sent me an automated response that said, in effect, "Thanks for your email, but I'm going to be in the field for July and August, and unable to respond."

And that's almost an exact quote.

And if any of you couldn't resist classifying the antelope in the larger picture linked above, and came up with 15 adult bucks and four yearling bucks, well, we may just have to sign you up as a volunteer.
