fall shot and a guzzler Actually looked at posting this picture yesterday, but opted for the more seasonal "heeler in larkspur" shot instead. But someone out there may appreciate this fall colour image. And if you, too, are still tormented by not knowing what this image is from October of 2002, it is the inside reflection of this: What is known as a "guzzler." A wildlife watering device that collects rainwater and snowmelt, and stores it underneath the fiberglass cover. Critters drink through the side holes, and the water usually lasts through the dry summer and fall. And yeah, this is known as the "flying-saucer" design of guzzlers. No reports of alien landings from this one yet, but it may happen. |
