passing a bridge
To the best of my recollection, I have never been on, or across, this bridge.
And I am certain I will never go out of my way to do so. Already have a bridge over my heart, thank you.
But for 16 years I have not been able to go past this bridge without looking. Without wondering. And I pass by often enough.
Like today.
But today it was different.
Tried and convicted. On all counts. And sentenced to die.
