As I wait for the sage grouse wing data forms to print out, I thought I might mention the TNT version of The Matrix. The wife and youngest son were watching it this evening, and I managed to catch a few minutes while reports were printing. And to snicker at what the censors had done to the dialogue.

When Trinity is on the motorcycle, watching the agents of the dreaded machines walking out with Neo, the one and sole hope for all humanity in their custody, what do you think the TNT censors thought her response would be?

"Shucks."

Really.

And when Neo discovers there really is a metallic crawdad crawling around in his gut, guess what his reaction is?

"Jeeper creepers! You mean that thing's real?"

I kid you not.

And all this time I thought they filmed that movie in Australia.

Not Mayberry.
