I knew Andrew had been suffering with a tremendous increase in diarists, but this is ridiculous.

Had to suspend field work to get some environmental comments done, both yesterday PM and early this AM. Once those were in, I had time to catch up on diaries. And surf a little.

Just for fun, I ran a search on Diaryland diaries in our state (this actually started 'cause I was trying to track a new heavy reader (yes, you there, in North Carolina), and got curious about this western place). And found...

Over 60 diaries listed.

Sixty.

When I started this, there were three of us. For years, it seemed like. And Kim moved back home.

Now there's more than five dozen diarists here. Well, that isn't quite true. A bunch of those come up to the error page... they no longer exist. But still, a lot of new journalists here.

I see even Doonesbury has mentioned blogging. And knows about "entry block" and trolling for google hits. Makes me suspect Trudeau has a journal out there somewhere.

Which isn't leading this entry anywhere.

But I also wanted to say 'Hi" to my feathered friend, who has been absent for a while. Hope your life is getting easier. You deserve it.
