Boss just called a while ago. Asking what we want to do with lion harvest quotas for the next three years.

And mentioned the email on our comments on one of the huge coalbed methane projects in my area.

Worked quite a bit on those comments over the weekend. Not writing them out, just getting all the ideas down so I wouldn't forget anything. And got them written and sent in at almost the last hour on Monday, as is unfortunately too common for me.

The email? From the honcho in charge of such things in the Capitol office. Thanking us for the, and I quote, "excellent" comments on the project.

Wow. I've never received a response like that before.

Turns out the boss hadn't either. Didn't know they sent responses back like that.

Wow.

And such timing. Annual performance review is coming up, which will be less than exemplary (Still too many things (as in paperwork) coming in late, or just in the nick of time. Better, but not fixed yet.), so this will be something on the plus side.

Now, if the folks in charge of the CBM project would just read my excellent comments on their project...
