private viewing

One of the advantages of not attending Mass with the wife and sons, besides the hypocrisy that would occur if I went, is that for one or two hours every Sunday I can watch whatever I want on the television. And I don't have to worry about someone walking into the room to see what I've got on.

So yesterday, I was laying on the bed, enjoying a favorite flick, when I heard the heelers making a racket.

My early warning system. Had plenty of time to change channels, so no one would know what I was watching, but the film was just getting to a really good part.

A special place I always enjoy in that production.

Do I quick change the set, before the wife comes in, or do I risk the humiliation of her catching me watching this kind of movie?

I took the risk. Just so I could hear that line. And lost. Got caught.

You know the line. Where Fezzig and Inigo have just revived Wesley, and Fezzig says "Inigo... I hope we win."
