Wife had The Weather channel on. And the female announcer stated:

"And So-and-so Town, Missouri, you had golf ball sized hail this afternoon."

This bothered me. And would bother me even more if I lived in So-and-so Town.

If they had golf ball sized hail in So-and-so Town, I suspect everyone who lives there knows that. And knew long before this lady did.

Be kind of hard to miss.

What she should have said was "And the folks in So-and-so Town, Missouri, had golf-ball sized hail this afternoon."

A little thing, I admit, but it bothered me.
