20 February 2002 - 20:02

20:02 20-02 2002

Okay, I admit it. I doctored the time record for this entry. It's actually 21:13.

Was planning on getting this entry in at exactly 20:02, but I forgot about the wife taking youngest son to his Wednesday classes. And then doing the grocery shopping while waiting for him to get out.

Not that that would affect my schedule at all, except for our new, recent Buffy, The Vampire Slayer addiction. So I needed to record the two hour episodes while the wife was gone, for her later viewing.

(Yes, I know you can just turn the VCR on and walk away, but we prefer to have the commercials PAUSEd out. It is so darn annoying to have to FAST FORWARD through commercials, trying to guess how many there are so you can hit PLAY at just the right time. Usually end up missing, and having to REWIND and then PLAY again. Pain in rear.)

So, anyway, at 20:02, I was taping Buffy, waiting for the first set of commercials to arrive so I could gather up the heeler bowls (so they could be fed immediately upon youngest son's arrival) and take a quick pee break before the commercials ended.

(Just a quick rant here. Is anyone else dying for March to arrive and the new show The Shield to begin just so they will quit running those damn commercials SO OFTEN?!)

I will say this... if you're going to get hit with a Buffy addiction, it is better to get hit when the series is in rerun mode. Ten hours of Slayer a week, never more than three days between episodes (the Olympics, you know). I would hate to have to wait a week between these episodes, much less all summer.

Anyway, you have just missed the 2002-2002-2002 instant of time (unless you're in any of the 14 time zones to the west of the Pacific time zone).

Hope you enjoyed it.
