You'd think I would recognize it by now.

That light metallic clatter just below my feet, just outside my window.

Got out and checked it this morning, and there it was again. A broken shock mount. Both of the front mounts ripped out this spring, and the mechanic warned me when he hammered them back into position that they might not last too long.

This one didn't.

Goes in first thing tomorrow to be rewelded and reinforced.

I lose a morning of classifications. We're already running out of August too quickly.

But, hey, I get to sleep in.

Heeler sisters will enjoy that.
