Had another entry I wanted to make here today (two, actually), but just remembered I have a drowned pocket gopher in the truck that is probably starting to get warm and rank. Need to get it into the freezer ASAP.

And no, its not a special freezer. It's the same one that holds our meat and my raspberries. Sometime I'll make an entry of all the critters and parts of critters that are in that freezer.

Wife knows and does not complain, except when my collections fill it up and there's no room for anything else.

The bats did get to her, and I finally got them donated to a more worthy site. Only took a few years.

Also have to cook lunch (and no, it's not the gopher).
