Well I deleted my earlier entry today, and thought I ought to put something in its place before the day is over.

If you're one of the four people who read my earlier rantings, and happen to be from California, I apologize. Normally I would be tempted to leave my vicous comments about your state's energy consumption problems online, but since your state decided *today* to begin rolling power blackouts again, I suspect my ravings would have fallen on sensitive ears (when you finally got your power back, that is).

All I will say now is, you folks aren't the only ones paying the price for your energy use (notice I didn't say "utilization" ... that is an overused and abused word that I detest to see or hear. I may expand on that sometime).

Hope the power disruptions aren't too bad, and for the rest of you, Happy Solstice!
