to ink or not to ink

Okay, we stopped in yesterday. First ever visit to a tattoo shop. Tina's regular place for getting her several tats.

The proprietor wasn't really supportive. Yes, they could do it. Cost about $50. Wouldn't take a full session.

But they could not do what I wanted. At least, not in the detail we were hoping for. Nor in the color I wanted. They could fake it with a mixture of other colors, but again, that further reduces the detail.

And it would almost certainly need follow-up visits for touch-up inking. And even with that, it wouldn't last. Not on that part of the body. It's about the worst skin to work with.

So, I never called back for the appointment. Was that being wise?

Or scared?
