Very shortly I will be providing hearse duty for yet another dead bighorn sheep. One of our herds in the Yellowstone country has been hit with what appears to be yet another pneumonia outbreak. Three diseased sheep have been killed and ferried to the vet lab already this week, and a fourth is on the way.

Guess whose turn it is to provide the last 120+ miles of transport?

I half-jokingly told the boss I would want to sterilize my truck before heading back up into my own sheep country.

He didn't laugh.
