I've been "quashed."
No, really. There really is such a word. It's not just from Law and Order. I received official word today my subpoena has been "quashed".
Or, more accurately, the subpoena for me has been quashed.
Which frees up my afternoon of the 28th, I guess.
(What some sunsets look like up north, when you've been too long afoot, too far from the truck.)
