county fair & bighorns
So, yesterday we finally made it to the fair. Looking at the new show barn, a couple pigs entered by some folks we know, and then almost every chicken and rabbit they got.
Who am I kidding. It was every chicken and rabbit they got. The wife likes the small animal barn.
Had good burgers by an exceptionally efficient scout crew, and...

Mmmmm.
I spent this morning hiking in the mountains looking for collared bighorn sheep (found 'em). The first field trip for the heelers in some time. And now, gotta go make lunch and get ready for another long, late evening pronghorn classification route in the desert.
It is clearly August.
