I'd warned everybody...

I absolutely, positively had to get home at a decent hour Saturday evening. With laundry and packing to do before an early morning start on a 4-state trip (not your puny little eastern states... these are real states), I needed some real sleep. Many hours of real sleep.

Look at the time on this entry. We got home 50 minutes ago. I leave in five hours.

But, got nobody to blame, no one to be mad at.

Did you know the battery for a hybrid Prius costs $3,000? And they don't keep them on stock?

No, neither did we. Thank goodness for Toyota's wonderful warranty.

And the wisdom of traveling in two vehicles, and traveling together.

So, imagine if you will, five adults traveling for over four hours in a five-seat SUV.

Now, add in two heelers.

And a corgi.

And a cat.

And all the luggage and accoutrements that go with five people, two heelers, a corgi and a cat.

It was a fun trip.

No, really.
