Six easy reports done,

Two hard ones left.

The wedding's coming up quickly, and we've got company coming.

And we don't know when.

So, a picture from last week:

Yep, on the way home from the meeting, I had to stop and check the prairie penstemons. I've been picking their seed pods for years now, and I still can't get them to grow at our place.

So eight young plants (and one unlucky ant) found themselves moved.

Into a bare spot in our curbing. All eight are still alive.

We'll see what they do next year.

Now there's that blanket flower the street construction folks obliterated last summer that the wife wants me to replace...
