tomorrow already Usually a phone call at two minutes after midnight would not be a good thing. Still, I snag it immediately after the first ring. Eldest son is on the line, "Is Mom still up?" No. He's missing a necessary piece of mail for doing his income taxes. We rummage through all the piles of papers and mail until we hit stuff from 2007. It's not here. It should have been in the pile of mail his bride-to-be took home to them two weeks ago. Oh. It was. As the sleepy heelers followed the sleepy wife back to bed, she comments, "Nothing like waiting until the last minute..." No, that would be waiting until tomorrow. "Isn't it tomorrow already?"
