So, as you maybe can see, life is still too busy to sit down and actually write about it. If I'm not busy doing, I'm busy napping to make up for the sleep lost to early morning sage grouse lek counts.

Except for right now. Since I suspect I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow (well, today, actually, now). After two days of exceptionally nice, warm weather (Shirt-sleeve weather all day, in the 60s. I quit putting thermals on in the morning on Thursday.), winter is scheduled to make a come back.

It's raining right now, starting about a half-hour ago. By this time tomorrow night, it should be 9-12" of snow. High temps maybe in the 30s.

And more of the same forecast all week long.

It isn't very often they predict 100% of anything for our weather here along the Divide, but for several days now the prediction for Monday was "100% chance of heavy snowfall".

It's okay. I want the sleep. Got plenty of office work to do.

And we need the moisture. So, as we prepare to awaken to a white world, and expected closures of our highways, here's a grouse picture from last week to enjoy.
