So today was not a good day in the Grouse household.

When the wife, who I love dearly, comes home in tears, of course I try to comfort her. But the hugs and friendly ears are, well, small comfort.

The heelers licking the tears off her cheeks are probably as helpful.

What I want to do is find the people who brought this pain to such a special person. And, well, I know many places ...

But of course, I can't. And she has to put on a good face, and move on as if nothing is wrong. And as she does, then so must I.
