cooking style

Apparently I was a topic of conversation between the wife and her best friend when they went out to the movies again on their usual Wednesday excursion.

Or, more specifically, the topic was how well I survived in the wife's absence.

She explained about the chicken marsala experimentation.

Her friend was impressed. Apparently, compared to her husband, I am a gourmet chef.

The wife also explained how I decided which prepared meat entree to microwave on the nights when I wasn't trying to cook (which was most nights).

I put the packages on the kitchen floor and let the heelers decide which they wanted that night.

We started with pork roast.

Naturally.

Heelers love pig meat.

But so much for my reputation as a gourmand.
