As manufacturers have made the seats of their pickups more and more comfortable to ride in...
they have also made them more and more uncomfortable to sleep in.
I was awoken at almost exactly 5 AM. By these two sandhill cranes:
Scrawking away less than a hundred meters off.
I guess they didn't want me to miss this view in front of my truck:
