urban habitats

A late-night drive home. Despite all the promises made to me that would not be the case.

Seeing as how I had to fly at 05:30 Monday morning.

No, we got home a little before one. Download the camera to clear the memory for the flight, and I enjoyed less than four hours of sleep.

Still, it was a pleasant drive home. Particularly the unplanned dinner at the Mongolian Grill downtown in the Fort.

Made necessary because the #1 choice, Quizno's, turned us away because we walked in second before closing.

But hey, they're "Open" light was still on...

This Americanized version of "Mongolian grill" was certainly faster and more efficient than the Asian version in Capitol City and Central City. But youngest son and I agreed, the Asian version tastes better.

So, enjoy a few shots from the drive home. A slightly different habitat than normal for this journal, but probably more familiar to most of you.
