The wife just came down to inform me...

"Gee. I just saw you on the news."

I knew I would be in the newspaper. When your friendly local reporter calls just before deadline, you kinda know... ya know? And the article about how tough the winter has been on our wildlife made front page this morning. (And wasn't just quotes from me. I spread the misery to as many others in the Outfit as I could.)

But apparently it was a slow news day across the state, 'cause the television news picked the story up. Specifically for this incident on the railroad.

But, true to form according to the wife, the TV station apparently didn't have any stock footage of pronghorn in snow.

So they used bison.

Close enough for city folk, I guess.
