Yet another day stumbled by in a daze. Things got done, yes, but I have no idea where the time went.

Seems like it's been this way since September.

Getting the wonderful new printer to work took most of the morning (suspect our power outage over the weekend was actually a power surge), but the rest of the day?

Not sure where it all went.

And yes, we again had company all evening and into the night. Which has been happening more days than not since the weather got so cold. And that is not a complaint, because we enjoy having them in the house. And, of course, we enjoy the corgi.

Her frequent visits have been getting on the heelers' nerves, though. Teeth bared more than once this evening.

And despite my misgivings, the little red Subaru was dug out of the white tomb it has been in for more than a month and, oddly, started with only the briefest of jumps.

And is off to town, to begin regular, daily duty.

Why the kids need separate vehicles when they work only three blocks apart is beyond me, but they (and the wife) say they do.

Good to see it running just the same. Maybe it'll be worth the $150 the wife paid for it.
