An hour.

It took me an hour to walk a half-mile.

Okay, so there was twenty minutes (according to the wife) spent visiting with a game warden who happened to come driving by. Just one of several dozen cars, trucks, SUVs and ATVs.

But no. most of the time was spent...

Taking pictures.

What a surprise, huh?

Three hundred and seventy-one pictures, to be exact. That's an average of one image every two meters or so. Which, when I reflect upon it, is probably about right.
